The 2010 Ford Explorer was the most preferred vehicle by consumers in the 1990s. However, the manufacturers are offering the 2010 Explorer as the last track exhibit the SUV features due to many reasons.
The rangeThe 2010 Explorer has a SUV kind of body design hosting a 4.0 liter V-6 engine and 4.6 literV-8 motor engines. It exists as either limited, XLT, XLT sport or Eddie Bauer model.These models are offered with either five or six speed automatic transmission.
New featuresThe new features in this last mode of 2010 Ford Explorer are the addition of the standard my key system and trailer sway control system.
The ExteriorsThe explorer wheels ranges between 16inches which is found in XLTS to 20Son limited. However, its physical appearance defers with model where Eddie Bauer model has a golden front and backside dampers while the XLTS model has a black grill and limited has colored dampers.
The InteriorsThe seating capacity of seven passengers and seats are arranged in three rows. The last row is designed to fit larger passengers; it has also 85.8cubic feet of cargo space.
Performance and handlingThe first engine with a very poor fuel economy is its 4.6liter V6which churns out 210 horsepower and a torque of 254pound-feet.The second one is the V8 which churns out 292horsepower and a torque of 315 pound-feet.The V6 is offered with a transmission of fire-speed while the V8 engine comes with an automatic transmission of six-speed, the V6 engine has a tow of 5,375 pounds, while the V8 as a tow of 7,115 pounds.
